Arithmetic on stated numbers, and nothing else. 14 of the 47 listings here name a capacity; the rest are offered as not stated, and choosing that stops the calculation rather than filling the gap.
The one thing worth settling before you start: squeezing a load changes how much room it takes and leaves its mass exactly where it was. Every result below repeats that, because it is the mistake this tool exists to prevent.

A workable division
Dividing 6 L into 2 pieces leaves about 3.0 L each, which sits inside the range ordinary cube sets are cut for. Whether the pieces physically fit is still a question of shape, and no listing on this site states a cube dimension.
Compression reduces the volume a load occupies. It does not reduce what that load weighs, and the scale at check-in reads weight.

Where the numbers come from
- The capacity buttons are the capacities listings actually state. There is no average and no rounding among them.
- If you choose a bag whose capacity is not stated, the calculation stops. It does not fall back to a typical figure, because a typical figure printed here would be read as a measurement.
- The set sizes are the set sizes the organizer listings offer. Nothing has been added.
- Both thresholds below are conversions from the definition of a liter as a cubic decimeter, not measurements of any product. No listing on this site states a cube dimension.
Why it stops instead of estimating
Because a plausible number on a page like this stops being an estimate within about a week. It gets quoted, screenshotted and repeated back until somebody believes a bag was measured. Leaving the gap visible is less useful and considerably more honest.
